Mike Chiado

Mike Chiado has been a key contributor to the growth of Company 3 since joining the company in 1999. He lead the engineering effort to consolidate and move Company 3’s Los Angeles headquarters to its present location. He also lead the design and engineering of its New York facility, and aided in the development of its visual effects, DI and UP Satellite services.
A Detroit native, Chiado earned a mathematics degree from University of Michigan and early in his career worked as an industrial mathematician for General Motors. He got his start in post production with Producers Color Service in Detroit and later spent 12 years as Director of Engineering at Postique. Chiado moved to the West Coast in 1998 and became Director of Engineering at Hollywood Digital West.
